Musnad Abī al-Ṭufayl ʿĀmir ibn Wāthilah (may Allah be pleased with him)
حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي أَبُو الطُّفَيْلِ: «أَدْرَكْتُ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ مِنْ حَيَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ، وَوُلِدْتُ عَامَ أُحُدٍ»
Translation
Abū al-Ṭufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) reported, as narrated by Thābit ibn al-Walīd from his father: Abū al-Ṭufayl said to me, “I lived eight years during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ, and I was born in the year of [the Battle of] Uḥud.” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 222
