حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عِيَاضٌ خَتَنُ أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَدِمَ مِنَ الْأَرْيَافِ فَأَخَذَهُ الْوَجَعُ فَرَجَعَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ لَا يَطْلُعَ عَلَيْنَا نِقَابَهَا؛ يَعْنِي نِقَابَ الْمَدِينَةِ
Translation

✧ A man came from the countryside and was seized by pain, so he returned. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I hope that its mountain passes will not appear before us'—meaning the mountain passes of Madinah.
