✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed with Abu Ayyub al-Ansari. When he ate some food, he would send him the leftovers, and he would look at the place where the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ hand had been and put his own hand there. One day he sent him some food, and he did not see in it the trace of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ fingers. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I did not see the trace of your fingers." He said: "There was garlic in it." Shu'bah said in his hadith: "Is it forbidden?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No." Hammad said in his hadith: "O Messenger of Allah, you sent me back what you did not eat." He said: "You are not like me; an angel comes to me, and I am not like you."
