✧ Al-Ash'ari prayed the 'Isha' prayer with his companions while he was between Makkah and Madinah, then he prayed a rak'ah in which he recited one hundred verses from al-Nisa' or al-Baqarah. It was said to him: "What is this?" He said: "I did not fail to place my feet where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his, and to do what he did."
