حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ:

إِنَّ الْعَرَّافِينَ كُهَّانُ الْعَجَمِ، فَمَنْ آمَنَ بِكَاهِنٍ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ

Translation

✧ The fortune-tellers are the soothsayers of the Persians. Whoever believes in a soothsayer has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad ﷺ.
