حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ بَجَالَةَ، قَالَ:
" لَمْ يَأْخُذْ عُمَرُ الْجِزْيَةَ مِنَ الْمَجُوسِ، حَتَّى شَهِدَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ ؓ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَخَذَهَا مِنْ مَجُوسِ هَجَرَ
Translation

✧ 'Umar did not take the jizyah from the Magians until 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf ؓ testified that the Prophet ﷺ took it from the Magians of Hajar.
