حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

" مَنْ تَرَكَ شَعَرَةً لَمْ يُصِبْهَا الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَعَلَ اللهُ بِهَا كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنَ النَّارِ، فَلِذَلِكَ عَادَيْتُ رَأْسِي - أَوْ قَالَ: شَعَرِي -، وَكَانَ يَجُزُّ شَعَرَهُ

Translation

✧ Whoever leaves a hair unwashed by water from janaba, Allah will do such-and-such to it with the Fire. That is why I treated my head—or he said: my hair—with hostility, and he used to crop his hair.
