Translation

✧ The leader of the Kharijites came to Ali ؓ and said to him: "Fear God, for you will die." He said: "No, by the One who split the grain and created the soul, but I will be killed by a blow from this one that will dye this—and he pointed with his hand to his beard—a covenant made and a decree decreed. The one who fabricates has failed."
