حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَيُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ؟ فَسَكَتَ حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، " فَصَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ طَارَقَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked: 'May a man pray in a single garment?' He remained silent until the prayer time arrived, then he prayed in a single garment, wrapping its two ends together.
