حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَوَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، وَقَالَ وَرْقَاءُ: عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" لَا يُؤْمِنُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَ بِأَرْبَعٍ: يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ، بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ، وَيُؤْمِنَ بِالْمَوْتِ، وَيُؤْمِنَ بِالْبَعْثِ، وَيُؤْمِنَ بِالْقَدَرِ

✧ A servant does not believe until he believes in four things: he bears witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah who sent me with the truth, believes in death, believes in the resurrection, and believes in the divine decree (qadar).
