حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ النَّهْدِيُّ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
خَلَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ نَعْلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَخَلَعَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ نِعَالَهُمْ فَقَالَ «مَا حَمَلَكُمْ عَلَى خَلْعِ نِعَالِكُمْ؟» قَالُوا رَأَيْنَاكَ خَلَعْتَ فَخَلَعْنَا فَقَالَ «إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ فِي إِحْدَاهُمَا قَذَرًا فَخَلَعَتْهُمَا لِذَلِكَ فَلَا تَخْلَعُوا نِعَالَكُمْ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ removed his sandals while praying, so those behind him removed their sandals. He said: “What made you remove your sandals?” They said: “We saw you remove yours, so we removed ours.” He said: “Jibril ﷺ informed me that there was something unclean on one of them, so I removed them for that reason. Do not remove your sandals.”
