حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا صَلَّى فَلَمْ يُتِمَّ صَلَاتَهُ؛ خُشُوعَهَا وَلَا رُكُوعَهَا وَأَكْثَرَ الِالْتِفَاتَ لَمْ تُتَقَبَّلْ مِنْهُ وَمَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ خُيَلَاءَ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ عَلَى اللهِ كَرِيمًا»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "When a servant prays but does not complete his prayer—its humility and its bowing—and frequently turns around, it is not accepted from him. And whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection, even if he is honorable in the sight of Allah."
