حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا أَبِي ثنا وَرْقَاءُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا أَبُو طَيْبَةَ عَنْ كُرْزِ بْنِ وَبَرَةَ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً شَاخِصَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَ فَصْلَ الْقَضَاءِ حَتَّى يَلْتَهِمَهُمُ الْعَرَقُ مِنْ شِدَّةِ الْكَرْبِ ثُمَّ يَنْزِلُ اللهُ ﷻ وَيَجْثُو الْأُمَمُ وَيُنَادِي أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَلَا تَرْضَوْنَ مِنْ رَبِّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَأَمَرَكُمْ بِعَبَادَتِهِ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ عَنْهُ وَكَفَرْتُمْ نِعْمَتَهُ أَنْ يُخَلِّيَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا تَوَلَّيْتُمْ يَتَوَلَّى كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ مَا تَوَلَّى فَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ مَنْ كَانَ يَتَوَلَّى شَيْئًا فَلْيَلْزَمْهُ قَالَ فَيَنْطَلِقُ مَنْ كَانَ تَوَلَّى حَجَرًا أَوْ عُودًا أَوْ دَابَّةً ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: People will stand before the Lord of the Worlds for forty years, their eyes fixed, awaiting the decisive judgment, until sweat engulfs them from the severity of the distress. Then Allah ﷻ will descend, and the nations will kneel, and He will call out: O people, are you not content with your Lord who created you and commanded you to worship Him, then you turned away from Him and denied His favor, that He leaves you and what you turned to? Every person will turn to what he turned to. Then a caller will call out: Whoever used to turn to something, let him stick to it. He said: Then those who turned to a stone, or a piece of wood, or a riding animal will depart. Then he mentioned something similar to the hadith of Zayd b. Abi Unaysa.
