حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ فَائِدٍ مَوْلَى عَبَادِلَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ
أَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ أُصْلِيَ لَهُ شَاةً فَصَلَيْتُهَا لَهُ فَقَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ الذِّرَاعَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ الذِّرَاعَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَمْ لَهَا مِنْ ذِرَاعٍ؟ فَقَالَ «أَمَا لَوْ سَكَتَّ لَوَجَدْتَهَا مَا دَعَوْتُكَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ commanded me to roast a sheep for him. I roasted it for him. He said, "Hand me the foreleg." So I handed him the foreleg. Then he said, "Hand me the foreleg." So I handed him the foreleg. Then he said, "Hand me the foreleg." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, how many forelegs does it have?" He said, "If you had remained silent, you would have found it as long as I called you."
