حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ
حَدَّثَنِي مَنْبُوذٌ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ رُبَّمَا ذَهَبَ إِلَى بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ فَيَتَحَدَّثُ عِنْدَهُمْ وَرُبَّمَا يَتَحَدَّثُ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَهُوَ يُسْرِعُ فَمَرَرْنَا بِالْبَقِيعِ فَقَالَ «أُفٍّ أُفٍّ لَكَ» فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ يُرِيدُنِي فَقَالَ لِي «امْشِ مَا لَكَ؟» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَحْدَثْتُ شَيْئًا؟ قَالَ «وَمَا ذَاكَ؟» فَقُلْتُ أَفَّفْتَ مِنِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ «لَا وَلَكِنْ هَذَا قَبْرُ فُلَانٍ َبَعَثْتُهُ سَاعِيًا عَلَى بَنِي فُلَانٍ فَغَلَّ دِرْعًا فَدُرِّعَ الْآنَ مِثْلَهَا مِنَ النَّارِ»

✧ Manbudh, a man from the family of Abu Rafi', narrated to me, from al-Fadl b. Ubayd Allah b. Abi Rafi', from Abu Rafi', who said: When the Prophet ﷺ prayed 'Asr, he would sometimes go to Banu 'Abd al-Ashhal and converse with them, and sometimes he would converse until Maghrib prayer. While I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Maghrib prayer and he was hurrying, we passed by al-Baqi'. He said, "Uff, uff, for you." I thought he meant me, so he said to me, "Walk. What is the matter with you?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, have I done something?" He said, "What is that?" I said, "You said 'uff' because of me, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, but this is the grave of so-and-so. I sent him as a collector for Banu So-and-so, and he stole a coat of mail. Now he has been made to wear the like of it from the Fire."
