وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ يَقُولَ فِيكَ طَوَائِفُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَا قَالَتِ النَّصَارَى فِي عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ لَقُلْتُ فِيكَ الْيَوْمَ مَقَالًا لَا تَمُرُّ بِأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَّا أَخَذَ التُّرَابَ مِنْ أَثَرِ قَدَمَيْكَ يَطْلُبُونَ بِهِ الْبَرَكَةَ»
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to 'Ali: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, were it not that factions of my community would say concerning you what the Christians said concerning 'Isa ibn Maryam, I would say about you today a statement such that no Muslim would pass by you except that he would take the dust from the traces of your feet, seeking blessing thereby."
