حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ
عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ أَرْبَعٌ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ أَنْ يَسْمَعَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يُكَبِّرُ فَلَا يُكَبِّرُ وَيَتَشَهَّدُ فَلَا يَتَشَهَّدُ وَيَمْسَحَ جَبْهَتَهُ مِنَ التُّرَابِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي وَأَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَضَاءِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ سُتْرَةٌ

✧ From al-Musayyab, who traced the hadith back to ʿAbdullah, who said: “Four things are from coarseness: that a man hears the muezzin say ‘Allah is most great’ and does not say it, and hears the testimony of faith and does not say it, and wipes dust from his forehead while praying, and prays in open ground with no screen between him and the qiblah.”
