حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنِ الْجَرِيرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ؓ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ قَطُّ ذَكَرًا وَلَا أُنْثَى أَحْسَنَ وَجْهًا مِنْهُ»
