حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا لَقِيَ رَجُلًا بِهِ خَنَازِيرُ فَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنَّهُ قَدْ أُخِذَ عَلَيَّ لَحَدَّثْتُكَ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَلَقِيَهُ فَقَالَ «حَدِّثْ» فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ قَدْ أُخِذَ عَلَيَّ أَنْ لَا أُحَدِّثَ بِهِ أَحَدًا فَقَالَ
لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ «إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَأَخْذَ عَلَيْكَ كَفِّرْ مِنْ يَمِينِكَ وَحَدِّثْ بِهِ» قَالَ اعْمِدْ إِلَى أَبْوَالِ إِبِلِ أَرَاكٍ يَعْنِي تَأْكُلُ الْأَرَاكَ فَاطْبُخْهُ حَتَّى يَنْعَقِدَ ثُمَّ اشْرَبْهُ وَخُذْ وَرَقَ الْأَرَاكِ فَدُقَّهُ وَذُرَّهُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَفَعَلَ فَبَرَأَ

✧ ʿAbdullah said to him: “It was not proper for it to take hold of you. Atone for your oath and speak of it.” He said: Take the urine of camels that eat arak, meaning that eat arak, and cook it until it thickens, then drink it. And take arak leaves, pound them, and sprinkle them on it. He said: He did so and was cured.
