حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُخَارِقِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُخَارِقِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ بِحَدِيثٍ أَتَيْتُكُمْ بِتَصْدِيقِ ذَلِكَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَتَبَارَكَ اللهُ قَبَضَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مَلَكٌ فَجَعَلَهُنَّ تَحْتَ جَنَاحِهِ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِهِنَّ فَلَا يَمُرُّ عَلَى جَمْعٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ إِلَّا اسْتَغْفَرُوا لِقَائِلِهِنَّ حَتَّى يَجِيءَ بِهِنَّ وَجْهَ الرَّحْمَنِ تَعَالَى ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ {إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعْهُ}

✧ Abdullah used to say: When I narrate to you a hadith, I bring you its confirmation from the Book of Allah. Indeed, when a Muslim servant says: 'Praise be to Allah, glory be to Allah, there is no deity but Allah, Allah is greatest, and blessed is Allah,' an angel takes hold of them and places them beneath his wing. Then he ascends with them and does not pass by any assembly of angels except that they seek forgiveness for the one who said them until he brings them before the face of the Most Merciful, Exalted is He. Then Abdullah recited: {To Him ascends the good word, and righteous action raises it}.
