حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ
كُنَّا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ فَلَمَّا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ «هَذَا غَسَقُ اللَّيْلِ» ثُمَّ أُذِّنَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَذَا وَاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَقْتُ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ We were with Abdullah on the road to Makkah. When the sun set, he said: "This is the darkness of the night." Then the call to prayer was given. Then he said: "This, by Allah besides whom there is no deity, is the time of this prayer."
