حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَنَا مَالِكٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اسْتَسْلَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَكْرًا فَجَاءَتْهُ إِبِلُ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ فَأَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ أَقْضِيَ الرَّجُلَ بَكْرَهُ فَقُمْتُ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ فِي الْإِبِلِ إِلَّا جِمَالًا خِيَارًا رَبَاعِيًّا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَعْطِهِ إِيَّاهُ فَإِنَّ خِيَارَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَحْسَنُهُمْ قَضَاءً»

✧ Al-Qaʿnabī narrated to us from Mālik, from Zayd b. Aslam, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Rāfiʿ, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ borrowed a young camel. Then the camels of zakāh came to him. Abū Rāfiʿ said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered me to repay the man his young camel. I went and found nothing among the camels but excellent mature camels, a six-year-old. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Give it to him, for the best of Muslims are the best of them in repaying.”
