حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا مَسِيرَةُ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ وَمَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ سَمَاءٍ مَسِيرَةُ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ وَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ السَّابِعَةِ وَالْكُرْسِيِّ مَسِيرَةَ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ وَمَا بَيْنَ الْكُرْسِيِّ وَالْمَاءِ مَسِيرَةَ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ وَالْعَرْشُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ وَاللهُ ﷻ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يَعْلَمُ مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ That he said: “Between the lowest heaven and the one above it is a journey of five hundred years, and between each heaven is a journey of five hundred years, and between the seventh heaven and the Footstool (Kursi) is a journey of five hundred years, and between the Footstool and the water is a journey of five hundred years, and the Throne is above the water, and Allah ﷻ is above the Throne, and He knows what you are upon.”
