✧ «Whoever of you comes seeking a fatwa, let him sit until we give it to him. Whoever of you comes as a litigant, let him keep hold of his opponent until we judge between them. And whoever of you comes to inform us of a shameful act that God has concealed, let him conceal himself with God’s concealment and entrust it privately to the One who possesses its forgiveness, for we do not possess its forgiveness and would impose a legal penalty on him; and with their dung»
