حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي شَيْخٌ مِنْ بَجِيلَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ يَقُولُ «كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ لَا يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى وَيُصَلِّي مَا بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ مَعَ عُقْبَةٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ طَوِيلَةٍ»
