حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ
كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يُقِلُّ الصَّوْمَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي إِذَا صُمْتُ ضَعُفْتُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ وَتِلَاوَةُ الْقُرْآنِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ»
