حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا وَهْبٌ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الْأَقْرَعِ بْنِ حَابِسٍ

أَنَّهُ نَادَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحُجُرَاتِ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ حَمْدِي زَيْنٌ وَإِنَّ ذَمِّي شَيْنٌ فَقَالَ «ذَاكُمُ اللهُ ﷻ»

✧ He called out to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from behind the chambers, saying, “O Muhammad, my praise is an adornment and my blame is a disgrace.” He said, “That is Allah, exalted be He.”
