حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

«اغْدُ عَالِمًا أَوْ مُتَعَلِّمًا وَلَا تَغْدُ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَأَحِبَّ الْعُلَمَاءَ وَلَا تُبْغِضْهُمْ»
