حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ قَالَ

عَبْدُ اللهِ «مَنْ قَرَأَ ثَلَاثَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ فَقَدْ أَكْثَرَ وَأَطْيَبَ»

Translation

✧ ʿAbd Allah said: 'Whoever recites three verses from Surah al-Baqarah in a night has done much and has done well.'
