حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ عَنْ شَبَّةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ

جَلَسْتُ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ سَنَةً فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَوْمًا «قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ» ثُمَّ تَغَيَّرَ وَجْهُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَحْوَ هَذَا أَوْ فَوْقَ هَذَا أَوْ دُونَ هَذَا»

✧ I sat with Abdullah for a year and did not hear him narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then one day he said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,' then his face changed, then he said, 'Like this, or above this, or below this.'
