حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ عَنْ هُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
«لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا عَلَى شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنْ لَا يَعْرِفُ مَعْرُوفًا وَلَا يُنْكِرُ مُنْكَرًا يَتَهَارَجُونَ كَمَا تَهَارَجُ الْبَهَائِمُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ تَمُرُّ الْمَرْأَةُ بِالرَّجُلِ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَيَقُومُ إِلَيْهَا فَيَقْضِي حَاجَتَهُ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَيَضْحَكُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَيَضْحَكُونَ إِلَيْهِ كَرَجْرَاجَةِ التَّمْرِ الْخَبِيثِ الَّذِي لَا يُطْعَمُ»

✧ The Hour will not come except upon the worst of people: those who do not recognize good and do not reject evil. They will copulate like beasts in the road. A woman will pass by a man in the road, and he will approach her and satisfy his need with her, then return to his companions and laugh to them and they laugh to him, like the foul, wormy dates that are not good to eat.
