حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبَانَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ يُقَاتِلُ الضَّحَّاكَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ فَقَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَيْمَنُ بْنُ خُرَيْمٍ أَلَا تُقَاتِلُ مَعَنَا؟ فَقَالَ

«لَا إِنَّ أَبِي وَعَمِّي شَهِدَا بَدْرًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَعَهِدَا إِلَيَّ أَنْ لَا أُقَاتِلَ أَحَدًا شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَإِنْ أَتَيْتَنِي بِبَرَاءَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ قَاتَلْتُ مَعَكَ» فَقَالَ اذْهَبْ فَلَا حَاجَةَ لَنَا فِيكَ فَقَالَ أَيْمَنُ «
