حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا مُوسَى يَقُولُ «لَقَدْ قَدِمْتُ أَنَا وَأَخِي مِنَ الْيَمَنِ فَمَكَثْنَا حِينًا لَا نَرَى إِلَّا أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنْ دُخُولِهِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ»

✧ That he heard Abu Musa say: "My brother and I arrived from Yemen, and we stayed for some time, thinking that ʿAbdullah b. Masʿud was from the household of the Prophet ﷺ, because of his frequent entering upon the Prophet ﷺ."
