حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَعَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ الْحَبَشِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَدْنَى مَا يُقْطَعُ فِيهِ السَّارِقُ ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ» قَالَ وَقَدْ كَانَ يُقَوَّمُ دِينَارًا

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “The minimum for which the thief's hand is cut off is the price of a shield.” He said: It used to be valued at a dinar.
