حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ قَالَا ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ

كَانَ آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلِّ بِأَصْحَابِكَ صَلَاةَ أَضْعَفِهِمْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الْكَبِيرَ وَالضَّعِيفَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ وَاتَّخِذْ مُؤَذِّنًا لَا يَأْخُذُ عَلَى الْأَذَانِ أَجْرًا»

✧ The last thing the Prophet ﷺ enjoined upon me was: “Pray with your companions the prayer of the weakest among them, for among them are the elderly, the weak, and the one with a need. And appoint a mu’adhdhin who does not take wages for the call to prayer.”
