حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ

كَانَ آخِرُ عَهْدٍ عَهِدَهُ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذْ بَعَثَنِي أَمِيرًا عَلَى الطَّائِفِ فَقَالَ لِي «اقْدِرِ النَّاسَ بِأَضْعَفِهِمْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ السَّقِيمَ وَالْكَبِيرَ وَالصَّغِيرَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ»
