حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ الْغَنَوِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ

أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَسْرَعُوا فِي الْقَتْلِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ بِهِمْ قَتْلُ الْوِلْدَانِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ»

✧ The companions of the Prophet ﷺ hastened in killing until it reached killing children. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Every newborn is born upon the fitrah, until his parents make him a Jew or a Christian."
