حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا مُلَازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

بَنَيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَسْجِدَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَكَانَ يَقُولُ «مَكِّنُوا الْيَمَامِيَّ مِنَ الطِّينِ مِنْ أَحْسَنِكُمْ لَهُ مَسًّا»

Translation

  3. Mulāzim b. ʿAmr
  4. ʿAbdullāh b. Badr
  5. Qays b. Ṭalq from his father

✧ I built the mosque of Madinah with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He would say, “Let the Yamami handle the clay, for he is the best of you at kneading it.”
