حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمِّي قَالَتْ

كَانَتْ أُمُّ الْحَرِيرِ إِذَا مَاتَ الرَّجُلُ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ اشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهَا فَقِيلَ لَهَا أُمَّ الْحَرِيرِ مَا لَنَا نَرَاكِ إِذَا مَاتَ الرَّجُلُ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ اشْتَدَّ عَلَيْكِ؟ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ مَوْلَايَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مِنِ اقْتِرَابِ السَّاعَةِ هَلَاكُ الْعَرَبِ» قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي رَزِينٍ «وَكَانَ مَوْلَاهَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ»

✧ Umm al-Harir, when a man of the Arabs died, it weighed heavily on her. It was said to her, "Umm al-Harir, why do we see that when a man of the Arabs dies, it weighs heavily on you?" She said, "I heard my master say: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'Among the signs of the approach of the Hour is the destruction of the Arabs.'" Muhammad b. Abi Razin said, "Her master was Talha b. Malik."
