حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ عَنْ مُبَارَكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَيَقُومُونَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ مَعَهُمِ الصُّحُفُ يَكْتُبُونَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى إِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ» فَقُلْتُ لَيْسَ لِمَنْ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ الْإِمَامِ جُمُعَةٌ؟ فَقَالَ «بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِيمَا فِي الصُّحُفِ»

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ said, "The angels stand on Friday at the doors of the mosque, with them scrolls, writing down the people, until when the imam comes out, the scrolls are rolled up." I said, "There is no Friday for one who comes out after the imam?" He said, "Indeed, but he is not in what is in the scrolls."
