حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السِّمْسَارُ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَبِي أَيُّوبَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ «يَا أَبَا أَيُّوبَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى عَمِلٍ يَرْضَاهُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ؟» قَالَ بَلَى قَالَ «تُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ إِذَا تَفَاسَدُوا وَتُقَارِبُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا تَبَاعَدُوا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Ayyub b. Zayd: “O Abu Ayyub, shall I not direct you to a deed that pleases Allah and His Messenger?” He said: “Yes.” He said: “Reconcile between people when they become corrupt with each other, and bring them close together when they distance themselves.”
