✧ I asked: "O Prophet of Allah, how many are the number of prophets?" He replied: "One hundred and twenty-four thousand, among them are three hundred and fifteen messenger groups.

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ «مَا اسْتَفَادَ الْمُسْلِمُ فَائِدَةً بَعْدَ تَقْوَى اللهِ تَعَالَى خَيْرًا لَهُ مِنْ زَوْجَةٍ صَالِحَةٍ إِنْ أَمَرَهَا أَطَاعَتْهُ وَإِنْ نَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا سَرَّتْهُ وَإِنْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَيْهَا أَبَرَّتْهُ وَإِنْ غَابَ عَنْهَا نَصَحَتْهُ فِي نَفْسِهَا»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ that he used to say: “A Muslim has not acquired any benefit after the fear of Allah Almighty better for him than a righteous wife: if he commands her she obeys him, if he looks at her she pleases him, if he adjures her she fulfills it for him, and if he is absent from her she is faithful to him in her own self.”
