✧ I asked: "O Prophet of Allah, how many are the number of prophets?" He replied: "One hundred and twenty-four thousand, among them are three hundred and fifteen messenger groups.

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُقْسِمُ بِاللهِ ثَلَاثًا لَا يَسْتَثْنِي مَا عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ مُسْلِمٌ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ اللهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ آمَنْتُ بِكَ مُخْلِصًا لَكَ دِينِي أَصْبَحْتُ عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ سُوءِ عَمَلِي وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذُنُوبِي لَا يَغْفِرُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَيَمُوتُ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ that he used to swear by Allah three times without exception: “There is no Muslim on the face of the earth who says when he enters the morning: ‘O Allah, to You belongs praise. There is no god but You. You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I believe in You, sincerely devoting my religion to You. I enter the morning upon Your covenant and Your promise as much as I am able. I repent to You from the evil of my deeds and I seek Your forgiveness for my sins, which none forgives but You,’ and then dies on that day of his, but he will enter Paradise.”
