al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 7874

✧ I asked: "O Prophet of Allah, how many are the number of prophets?" He replied: "One hundred and twenty-four thousand, among them are three hundred and fifteen messenger groups.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَا ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا إِنَّ النَّارَ خُلِقَتْ لِلسُّفَهَاءِ وَهِي لِلنِّسَاءِ إِلَّا الَّتِي أَطَاعَتْ قَيِّمَهَا»
