حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا مُعَانُ بْنُ رِفَاعَةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَالِسًا وَكَانُوا يَظُنُّونَ الْوَحْيَ يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَقْصَرُوا عَنْهُ حَتَّى جَاءَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ فَافْتَحَمَ فَأَتَاهُ فَجَلَسَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ هَلْ صَلَّيْتَ الْيَوْمَ؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «قُمْ فَصَلِّ» فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتِ الضُّحَى أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ هَلْ تَعَوَّذْتَ مِنْ شَرِّ شَيَاطِينِ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ؟» قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ وَهَلْ لِلْإِنْسِ شَيَاطِينُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ شَيَاطِينُ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ الْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was sitting, and they thought revelation was descending upon him, so they kept away from him until Abu Dharr came and forced his way in, approached him, and sat by him. He turned to him and said, “O Abu Dharr, have you prayed today?” He said, “No.” He said, “Rise and pray.” When he had prayed four rak‘ahs of Duha, he turned to him and said, “O Abu Dharr, have you sought refuge from the evil of the devils of jinn and humans?” He said, “O Prophet of God, are there devils among humans?” He said, “Yes, devils of humans and jinn, some of them inspire others with adorned speech in deception.”
