حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «عَائِدُ الْمَرِيضِ يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ» وَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ غَمَرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَمِنْ تَمَامِ عِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ أَنْ يَضَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ أَوْ عَلَى يَدِهِ فَيَسْأَلَهُ كَيْفَ هُوَ وَتَمَامُ مَحَبَّتِكُمْ بَيْنَكُمِ الْمُصَافَحَةُ»

✧ The Messenger of God said: “The visitor of a sick person plunges into mercy.” And the Messenger of God ﷺ placed his hands on his knees, then said: “When he sits with him, mercy overwhelms him. Part of perfecting the visit to a sick person is that one of you place his hand on his face or on his hand and ask him how he is. And the perfection of love among you is shaking hands.”
