حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَسَحَ رَأْسَ يَتِيمٍ لَا يَمْسَحُهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ مَرَّتْ عَلَيْهَا يَدُهُ حَسَنَاتٌ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنَ إِلَى يَتِيمٍ عِنْدَهُ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَهُوَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ» وَقَرَنَ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever wipes the head of an orphan, not wiping it except for the sake of Allah, will have for every hair that his hand passes over good deeds. And whoever treats an orphan well in his care, I and he will be in Paradise like these two,” and he joined his two fingers.
