حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْأَيَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ زَبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا عَمِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ الْحِمْصِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْمٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ صَاحِبَ الشِّمَالِ لِيَرْفَعُ الْقَلَمَ سِتَّ سَاعَاتٍ عَنِ الْعَبْدِ الْمُسْلِمِ الْمُخْطِئِ أَوِ الْمُسِيءِ فَإِنْ نَدِمَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ اللهَ مِنْهَا أَلْقَاهَا وَإِلَّا كُتِبَتْ وَاحِدَةً»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: “The angel on the left withholds the pen for six hours from a Muslim servant who errs or sins. If he regrets it and seeks Allah’s forgiveness, he casts it aside; otherwise, it is recorded as one.”
