حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَائِذٍ ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا اسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي السِّيَاحَةِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ سِيَاحَةَ أُمَّتِي الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ»

✧ A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for permission to travel as a wandering ascetic. He said: “The wandering of my community is striving in the path of Allah, Exalted is He.”
