حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ مُغَلِّسٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَيْزَارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَرَأَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَةَ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ لَهُ قُنُوتُ لَيْلَةٍ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ مِئَتَيْ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْقَانِتِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ أَرْبَعَمِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْعَابِدِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ خَمْسَمِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْحَافِظِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ سِتَّمِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْخَاشِعِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ ثَمَانِمِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْمُخْبِتِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْفَ آيَةٍ أَصْبَحَ لَهُ قِنْطَارٌ وَالْقِنْطَارُ أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَا أُوقِيَّةٍ الْأُوقِيَّةُ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَوْ قَالَ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْفَيْ آيَةٍ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُوجِبِينَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites ten verses in a night is not recorded among the heedless. Whoever recites one hundred verses is recorded for him a qunūt of a night. Whoever recites two hundred verses is recorded among the devoutly obedient. Whoever recites four hundred verses is recorded among the worshipers. Whoever recites five hundred verses is recorded among the memorizers. Whoever recites six hundred verses is recorded among the humble. Whoever recites eight hundred verses is recorded among the reverent. Whoever recites one thousand verses has a qinṭār recorded for him—and a qinṭār is one thousand two hundred ūqiyyahs; an ūqiyyah is better than what is between heaven and earth, or he said, than what the sun rises upon. Whoever recites two thousand verses is among those who make [reward] binding.”
